EUSDR Flagship Projects
Several IAD members are contributing to four EUSDR (European Strategy for the Danube Region, http://www.danube-region.eu/) Flagship Projects.
Within the EUSDR there are 11 priority areas defined, where activities have been developed during the recent years. One of these activities is to select and support flagship projects as key elements to develop further targeted ideas and joint activities.
The following flagship projects have been selected in different priority areas in last years:
- DanubeFuture - A sustainable future for the Danube River Basin as a challenge for the interdisciplinary humanities (http://www.danubefuture.eu/)
- Danubius - The Danube International Centre for River-Delta-Sea Systems (http://www.danubius-ri.eu/)
- DREAM - Danube River Research and Management
- Sturgeon2020 - A Program for the Protection and Rehabilitation of Danube Sturgeons Biodiversity (http://www.dstf.eu/)
